Vaxxine Computer Systems was originally founded as All Systems Go in 1984, servicing the VAX computer. Today Vaxxine sells computer hardware, software, and manages IT for numerous small businesses in the Niagara Region. This requires developers like Jeremy to work with numerous clients spread out across the province. He often works on several projects in a single day and needed a way to track his time effectively and accurately.
Timesheets are boring. They’re the last thing between you and the end of your day.
Timesheets are inflexible. They don’t take into account the variety of projects you work on in a day.
Timesheets are inaccurate. They often get it wrong when you work on multiple projects.
Jeremy would work on numerous projects throughout the day but have difficulty remembering the specifics of what he was doing. This would be come a problem at the end of the day when Jeremy would try to fill out his timesheets, missing up to half an hour and causing him to stress over ensuring he wasn’t over-billing his clients.
- Ensure no leaked time
- Improve timesheet process
- Reduce time spent filling out timesheet
“If you spend 20 minutes writing a huge query that does a bazillion things, Clockk tracks that time. I always would underestimate how long I would take to edit an image or a bunch of images. I find at least two hours a week in billable time that I would have otherwise missed.”
Jeremy noted that Clockk helped him by continuously tracking his time through different projects. Clockk learned quickly which websites were grouped with which projects, reducing the time he took to put together his timesheet and found him up to two hours a week in billable time.
Jeremy wanted to increase his revenue and reduce his stress after losing money from leaked time while using manual timesheets.
Jeremy stumbled across Clockk from a mutual friend and gave it a shot. He took a chance and became one of its first users, helping the software evolve and remain responsive.
Jeremy found that Clockk made his life dramatically easier. Not having to start a timer reduced stress usually accompanying timesheets, while the software learned as he assigned it to track different projects. Jeremy found he could now work on more than three projects in a day and Clockk would track the time spent on all of them accurately.
“Sometimes I’m just reading a copy in my One Note word or something and none of that would be tracked. There was no solution that would work across all of my different things I have to do day-to-day. Clockk solved that.”
Within days of downloading Clockk, Jeremy found that his time was more accurately reflected in his timesheet. This translated into tangible profits daily, which quickly began to accumulate. Jeremy noted that Clockk helped him by continuously tracking his time through different projects. Clockk learned quickly which websites were grouped with which projects, reducing the time he took to put together his timesheet to less than 20 minutes each day and finding $40 per day in leaked time.
